I purchased my "machine" on 8/11/99 for $500 dollars. I don't have a license yet, or permit for that matter...but I fell in love with these cars and had to have one.
It was a little depressing to discover more and more things that were wrong with it. I thought all I needed was a coat of paint and I was set to cruise the streets!
Needless to say, I know better now!
